Our Seasonal Treatment Programme features planned applications of fertiliser, weed control and moss control to improve the appearance and health of your lawn. We may also recommend additional services such as scarification, aeration, over-seeding and top dressing as needed and these can be combined into a bespoke Annual Lawn Management Plan.
Our service year runs from 1st March to 28th February inclusive, and we reserve the right to increase prices annually.
Our services work hand in hand with customers after care i.e, correct mowing practices, watering as advised and general lawn care. Best results are achieved with combined efforts by us and the customer.
We provide a complimentary after care service with expert advice and ongoing support throughout the year for all garden and lawn matters when you purchase a complete Annual Lawn Management Plan. Customers on treatment-only or partial plans may also access this service, though a fee may apply. By agreeing to our quotation either verbally or in writing you confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time and we will notify our customers of any changes.
Customers may terminate the services with a written notice of 30 days. A termination of service date will be confirmed on receipt of your written notice and services will continue to be provided and charged until the completion of this period. Any prepaid services beyond the termination date will be refunded to the customer. Any payment plans will be assessed to establish any credit owed or balance due (based on treatments received and payments made) which will be charged or refunded accordingly.
We will notify you of treatment visits using your preferred contact method and we will give as much notice as possible. Short notice may occasionally be unavoidable due to weather, illness or other factors.
You do not need to be present when we visit to carry out a treatment. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that we have access to the lawn/garden and that gates are left unlocked or gate codes are provided. If we cannot gain access, the visit may be rescheduled and a £25.00 call-out fee may apply.
We may require access to mains water and a hosepipe to provide certain treatments or services and the customer agrees to ensure this is available (a reminder will be sent if necessary prior to any visits).
Please do not cut your lawn for approximately two days before we carry out a treatment. Although not essential, it will significantly improve the effect of the treatments we apply to your lawn. If a scheduled visit includes a scarification or lawn renovation then separate pre-visit instructions will be provided to the customer.
Please ensure that your lawn is clear of furniture, toys or dog mess before your treatment is due. Failure to do this may result in us having to treat the lawn around the items or the treatment being rescheduled, which may incur a call-out fee of £25.00.
Please clear any leaf fall prior to our visits. If leaves are present on the lawn and we have time on the schedule we will blow the leaves into the closest non lawn area (hard standing, bed etc) and this will incur a fee of £30.00. If there is no time on the schedule for leaf removal the visit may be rescheduled, which may incur a call-out fee of £25.00.
After a treatment has been applied to your lawn, it is best to leave it for 3 days before mowing. Weed killer applications will work better the longer they can stay on the leaf of the weeds. Please refrain from walking or playing on your lawn for the remainder of the day. Do not allow cats or dogs on your lawn for the remainder of the day, and grazing animals such as rabbits or guinea pigs on your lawn for 7 days. If a scheduled visit includes a scarification or lawn renovation then separate post-visit instructions will be provided to the customer.
Some treatments or processes we carry out can leave your lawn looking a little less desirable, these include but are not limited to, scarification, aeration and moss control. It can take several weeks or months depending on the service provided for a lawn to fully recover. Customers must follow any provided after care and/or watering instructions after treatments for maximum results and we cannot be held responsible if any of the recommended after care instructions for treatments or services are not carried out by the customer.
Following scarification and/or aeration, we will collect and bag up the green waste produced from your lawn into reusable bags and leave these on site (we are not able to remove any waste). These bags remain our property and will be collected at a future visit unless otherwise arranged. Bags can be purchased for £5.00 each if you wish to keep them.
Please do not apply further products or chemicals to your lawns. We cannot be held responsible for any issue that may occur as a result. We also cannot be held responsible for any damage or adverse effects caused by the customer or a third party undertaking their own machine work, such as scarification and aeration.
We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, pests, disease, weed grasses, insufficient watering, or new weed or moss growth after treatment. We are also not responsible for lawn condition where recommended treatments are declined.
Any images taken of our work may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. We take care not to show sensitive information. If you do not wish images to be used, please notify us in writing.
We take every reasonable care, but we are not liable for damage caused by natural or preventable factors such as drought, frost, poor watering, pets, wildlife, flooding or other unforeseen events. We are not responsible for damage to underground services less than 180mm deep, including cables, irrigation systems, drainage, sprinkler heads or robotic mower wires. These must be clearly marked before any mechanical work is carried out.
We aim to provide a high-quality service at all times. If you have a concern, please contact us within 14 days of the visit so we can investigate and put things right where possible.
